How Match Finder Works
1. Post a match
Team leaders pick a time, Best Of, and cross play setting, then post an open match for their ladder.
2. Accept a match
Teams on the same game and ladder can accept an open post. If cross play is off, only teams on the same platform can accept.
3. Play and report
- Follow the ladder rules shown on the match page.
- Both teams report the result after the match.
- Keep screenshots or video in case a dispute is needed.
4. Getting into the match
How to get into this match
Swap in-game IDs with the other team (match comments or team chat), add each other as friends, then party up or invite into the lobby before the scheduled time.
Adding friends in Battlefield 6- Open Battlefield 6.
- Press R2, RT, or TAB to open EA Connect.
- Scroll to Player search.
- Type your opponent's or teammate's EA or platform ID into the search bar.
- Select Done.
- Scroll to find them, then select Add friend.
- They get a friend request they can accept in the Friend requests tab.
Once added, they appear in the EA Connect Friends tab. Invite them to your party from the Party tab to play together.
Cross play: if you add a platform friend as an EA friend, you can keep playing together even when they are on a different platform.
5. Disputes
If the reports do not match, open a dispute ticket and staff will review the proof.
